Who We Are…

Community Covenant Church is a growing, friendly, loving and diverse Christian community; we are people of all ages who find that following Jesus Christ gives us a common bond of hope, joy and purpose.

Our church began with a vision that this would be a place where all would be welcome to worship God, hear the Good News of his redeeming work and grow in faith and discipleship. We come from different ethnic, economic and cultural backgrounds to unite in the lifestyle and mission Jesus taught his followers to embrace.

Community Covenant is a member of the Evangelical Covenant Church, a denomination of nearly 750 churches and over 125,000 people in the United States and Canada. Swedish Lutheran immigrants founded it in 1885 as a voluntary covenant of churches committed to working together to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.

We Believe…

That God is our creator and loving Father.

That Jesus, his Son came to be our Savior and show us life at its best.

That the Holy Spirit is at work in the world and church.

That to love God, and others, are life’s most important pursuits.

 The Methow Valley:

Tucked away in the North Cascades mountain range, the Methow is consistently credited as one of the top recreational destinations in the United States.  Sunset Magazine recently ranked us in their "Top 10 Places to Live!"  Blessed with year round sunshine, hot summers, powder snow winters, and world class accommodations, it's not hard to imagine why this mountain community is the destination for so many travelers.  Check it out for yourself at www.methow.com or www.mvsta.com for additional information and links to community interests.

Community Covenant Church is a place where:

  • People can come as they are without having to be someone

           they’re not.

  • God’s love is evident.
  • People can discover true significance, freedom and healing.

  • The messages are practical and relate to everyday living.
  • People’s spiritual growth is encouraged through genuine
    friendships.

While we value and cherish the Apostle’s Creed and other doctrinal expressions of the Church throughout history, we don’t adopt any one as our “official” statement and then require agreement to it as a condition of membership. We value freedom within unity while we work, witness and wait for Christ to come again. As Christians we strive to encounter God as he reveals himself by his Holy Spirit and calls us to join in his work in the world.
